Rev. Patricia Hatch, Minister

Rev. Patricia Hatch is happy to serve as the minister of the Unitarian Congregation of Mendon & Uxbridge. She graduated magna cum laude from Boston University with a Master of Divinity degree and a major in Theological Studies.

She is passionate about ministry. For the last several years, Rev. Patricia has had a specialized community ministry, focusing on officiating rites of passage ceremonies, especially funeral and memorial services. She has also been an itinerant preacher across New England for the last fifteen years. In fact, UCMU was the fiftieth congregation that she has preached for!

Rev. Patricia is also a spiritual director and trained group facilitator. She has a background in religious education and pastoral care.

Sharing inspiration and co-creating a thriving church community is Rev. Patricia's vision for her ministry and for UCMU. A church community provides something different than other organizations with its spiritual, caring, democratic, freely chosen, and multi-generational community.

She finds joy in writing poetry, spending time in nature, and finding occasions to celebrate. She also enjoys researching local and family history.
