We're glad you've found us and taken the time to ask who we are and what we do! The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Mendon and Uxbridge is a lay-led, diverse faith community dedicated to inclusivity, justice, and community.
Our community warmly welcomes all people without discrimination on the basis of race, gender, age, color, national origin, ethnic background, socioeconomic status, marital status, disability, sexual orientation or gender identity. As Unitarian Universalists, we affirm the inherent worth and dignity of every person.
We are committed to making our activities available to all members of the community. Our building is wheelchair accessible. We host a variety of community organizations. These include Centerpoint Driving Academy, an AA meeting, and the Jean Cahill Social Recreation Dances.

As a result, our services are more diverse in theme and spiritual background week to week.
Unitarianism is a religious non-specific faith practice. We draw from our heritages of freedom, reason, hope, and courage, building on the foundation of love. You can find more general information on the UUA website here.
Unitarian Universalism is historically based in Christianity. However, the faith as it stands today does not follow a specific religious dogma. Instead we hold up the Seven Principles as our guiding light while seeking wisdom from many faiths and philosophies.
